We provide online training. We have 3 labs each
with the capacity of 8 students and 1 special
lab for corporate training. |

Networking |
|
|
|
AT & T UTP cabling, 10Base T Ethernet Hubs of
16 & 24 ports each. All the computers in the
Lab are networked in star topology, using UTP
CAT 5 cables and 16 port and 24 port UTP hubs.
Each workstation is installed with license
version of Win98, Lotus SmartSuite, Microsoft
Office, Stedman’s consise dictionary version 1.0
Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary and 1999 quick
look drug reference. Each use is allotted
his/her personal user account on the network for
its individual data management. Each user is
allotted a home directory on the server where he
can save his/her data files, which can be
accessed from any computer. Security Privileges
are set so that no user can tamper data of
her/his.
Server Computer is installed with Windows NT 4.0
server. DHCP Server is also installed as a
component of the server for dynamically managing
IP address on all workstation. WINS server is
also installed as a component on the server for
faster Net Bios Name Resolution & to prevent
from generating high Network Traffic. A network-
shared printer is installed on the server so
that the entire user’s can share and access the
printer. A scanner is installed on one of the
workstation for scanning purposes, which all the
users can use.
All the workstation can have Internet
connectivity through the server. |
